The Flow of Polynomial Roots Under Differentiation

نویسندگان

چکیده

The question about behavior of gaps between zeros polynomials under differentiation is classical and goes back to Marcel Riesz. Recently, Stefan Steinerberger [42] formally derived a nonlocal nonlinear partial differential equation which models dynamics roots differentiation. In this paper, we connect rigorously solutions Steinerberger’s PDE evolution for class trigonometric polynomials. Namely, prove that the distribution derivatives polynomial corresponding remain close all times. global in time control follows from analysis propagation errors equation, turns out be fractional heat with main term similar modulated discretized Laplacian $$(-\Delta )^{1/2}$$ .

On the Roots of Hosoya Polynomial of a Graph

Let G = (V, E) be a simple graph. Hosoya polynomial of G is d(u,v) H(G, x) = {u,v}V(G)x , where, d(u ,v) denotes the distance between vertices u and v. As is the case with other graph polynomials, such as chromatic, independence and domination polynomial, it is natural to study the roots of Hosoya polynomial of a graph. In this paper we study the roots of Hosoya polynomials of some specific g...

Flow Polynomial of some Dendrimers

Suppose G is an nvertex and medge simple graph with edge set E(G). An integervalued function f: E(G) → Z is called a flow. Tutte was introduced the flow polynomial F(G, λ) as a polynomial in an indeterminate λ with integer coefficients by F(G,λ) In this paper the Flow polynomial of some dendrimers are computed.
